With albums like Echoes of the Dunes and Lost in the Mirage, the group blended Arabic maqam scales with progressive rock frameworks, earning both regional acclaim and international recognition.

While in Dubai, Ali also became a sought-after music producer and sound engineer. At Soundscape Studios, he worked closely with Emirati and expatriate artists to help them shape a unique voice that represented the region’s rich cultural diversity. His work not only elevated local music but also created a blueprint for others to follow.

Cultural Adaptability and Artistic Growth

Navigating two cities as different as London and Dubai required more than just technical skill; it demanded cultural sensitivity and the ability to translate musical ideas across traditions. Ali Sherif Al Askari excelled at this. In London, he adapted to the competitive, fast-paced world of underground rock.
